Review

This book taught me to focus on the process rather than the outcome. That is still a lesson I am trying to learn. It comes from this quote in the book:

“When, instead, your goal is to focus on the process and stay in the present, then there are no mistakes and no judging. You are just learning and doing. You are executing the activity, observing the outcome, and adjusting yourself and your practice energy to produce the desired result. There are no bad emotions, because you are not judging anything.”

There are so many other gems in this book, such as if you just wait longer and hold off getting what you want, you will probably not want that thing anymore. I have forgotten quite a few of them.

What I love about these short, powerful books is that you can easily re-listen to them or re-read them. I have listened to this book 2-3 times and I am due for another uplift.

Finished in 2015.
