Summary
The One Thing explains the success habit to overcome the six lies that block our success, beat the seven thieves that steal time, and leverage the laws of purpose, priority, and productivity.
Review
The premise is simple. Focus on one thing, the most important thing, and you will get amazing results. While I like the book and how it makes you think, I don't 100% agree with it. I can't get myself to apply my whole life to one thing, or my career focus to be one thing. Now, I do recognize that getting focused will help you to make tons more progress than going scatter shot on every new and shiny thing, but I still can't bring myself to only focus that much right now. I find that my interests vary too much.
What I can do though. Is break my interests up into their different parts and focus on the one thing in those areas that can get me the most results.
